JUDGES BIO

I have been involved with purebred dogs and a member of the CKC since 1964. I have bred and shown Miniature poodles, Yorkshire Terriers, Chihuahuas, West Highland White Terriers, and Brussels Griffons.

I have been judging since 1980 in Canada, USA., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, China, Finland, South Africa, Philippines, Columbia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic.

I groomed dogs professionally for 50 years and I bred and shown registered Morgan horses and Nubian goats. I have bred numerous exotic birds and presently I am showing top winning poultry in Canada and the USA.

I got my first Griff from Grace McCartney in Guelph, I called her Cindy. She achieved her Cdn. Championship. I Imported two males from Gaystock Kennel in the UK,  Cdn. Ch.Gaystocks Bon Amie, (Benny) and Gaystocks Cdn. & Am. Ch. Dozmare Le Chasseur (Dino). 

In 1981 I Bred Cdn. Ch. Berryhill Lady April to Mamie Gregory's Am. Ch Fuzzy Pegs Flim Flam. She had two pups,

 Cdn Ch. Berryhill Galadrial and Cdn. & Am. Ch Berryhill Gandalf who was the First Canadian Bred Brussels Griffon to take a BIS in Canada and the USA.

He won the Breed in 1984 at the AKC Centennial Show under Iris de la Torre Bueno, a long time Griff Breeder. 1986 he won the Toy Group at The Westminster KC in N.Y. under Dr. Boschel,  who remarked if he could have bred a Griff like this he would have still been in the breed . I have imported dogs from UK, Finland, and Australian. In 2009 I imported Ch. Blue Bay's Irresistible from Finland .He went BPIS at Markham KC and one of his daughter's had 7 group puppy awards and 6 BPIS. In my 30 years of exhibiting, I Finished many Griffs in Can. & the USA. I have been Judge for 44 years and a member of the Canadian Kennel club for 60 years.
